Scott Galloway & Daniel Kahneman
Scott Galloway can be quite understated / deadpan as an interviewer on his podcast, and it took me a little while to settle into his style of delivery. He is very insightful, forthright and entertaining in this Q&A format:
At the end of this podcast touching on the death of Daniel Kahneman, Galloway nicely articulated (i) the finding that above a certain level of wealth / income, there are diminishing returns in terms of happiness / well-being, as a key justification for (ii) taxing the rich proportionally more than the poor:
Re Kahneman, for some reason I found Thinking Fast and Slow over-rated, and only got through 100 pages or so. But more generally, I found him a sharp commentator — including here, where he did a good job at holding his own, even on topics which were more up Hariri’s street:
